Manager Peel Institute on Violence Prevention. Family Services of Peel. Preceptor First and second year students, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, Mississauga Campus. Extensive experience in the development of partnerships between community, academia and service providers. Several years of experience teaching primary health care in academic settings with a focus in interdisciplinary team building, health promotion and family and community health. Many years of experience in community mobilization and advocacy and the development of strategic community coalitions with a strong focus in violence against women and women’s reproductive health. Over 10 years of experience writing grant
proposals for programs and research initiatives. Planning, organizing, directing and coordinating  community development projects, in education and health service delivery in a broad range of settings. Providing training for individuals and groups of diferent race, ethnicity, cultural and social backgrounds. Wide experience working in qualitative research using grounded theory and other action research. Solid regional, provincial and international connections with violence against women networks. Development of evaluation methodologies for projects and programs.
