O mercado de trabalho do profissional da informação: um estudo com base na RAIS comparando os anos de 1994 e 2004

The article argues the transformations of the market of work of the professional of the information in Brazil, comparing the years of 1994 and 2004, using base RAIS of the Ministry of the Work and Job, in view of the occurred process of productive reorganization, over all, during years 1990. In such a way, the study it analyzes and it compares two crucial moments. For definition of the term professional of the information CBO - 2002 was used, that it defines the professionals of the information as the graduate in librarianship. The main raised questions mention the changes to it how much to the identification of the professionals who act in Brazil., of the main sectors where they were and however are placed., beyond the effect on the distributions for sort, wage band and type of employment bond. The study sample that the professionals had gotten relative stability in the work market, considering the two analyzed periods.
