GENDER, VIOLENCE, AND LEGISLATION: INTERPELLATIONS ABOUT FEMINICIDE IN THE STATE OF SÃO PAULO - BRAZIL

The objective was to understand the evolution of notification after the enactment
of specific legislation in Brazil about gender violence, such as the law enacted on March
9, 2015, Law No. qualifiers of homicide in Brazil. For this purpose, domain analysis was
used as a methodology, based on document cartography, which highlights the exploratory
nature of the study. About the ways in which the classification and representation of
information are carried out and assuming the great difficulties in retrieving information
regarding the crimes of Feminicide, this text was thought. For this, it was necessary to
analyze the notifications of the crime processes with indexing “Gender Perspective”
allocated as “Violent Deaths of Women - Feminicides in the State of São Paulo – Brazil”,
to draw an understanding of the evolutions and involutions related to the theme in both
cases. analyzed territories.
