CLASSIFICATION, STEREOTYPES AND SILENCES IN THE DOMAIN OF SEXUAL AND GENDER DISSIDENCE
Synopsis
The objective was to understand how power relations have influenced the
understanding and classification of the domain of sexual and gender dissidences. For that,
Domain Analysis was chosen as a methodology, based on two methodological resources,
Ethnography and Observation, in order to subsidize the Cartography of documents
and Cartography of feelings. At the end of the observations, it is understood that the
symbolic state of exception socio-historically constructed on and around the subjects that
blur, deviate or do not mark out their identities, practices and orientations of desire for
the current norm, guided by social proselytism, where the patriarchal system uses sexist
strategies and methods to root a sexist behavior in a capitalist envelope, which uses social
control devices to make bodies politically docile and economically productive, creating
oppressed and excluded people in a game of power complex in which “remembering and
forgetting” are part of a mechanism of social control.
